人工智能赋能规模化课堂中的个性化学习何以可能?——基于近十年国际AI课堂教学应用研究

【摘  要】长久以来,如何在规模化课堂教学场景中满足学习者的个性化需求,实现“因材施教”是教育工作 者不断追寻的重要目标。人工智能赋能课堂教学创新为实现上述目标提供了新的路径。本研究采用系统性文献综 述的研究方法,对近十年间(2012年至2022年)国际人工智能技术赋能规模化课堂中个性化学习研究的高水平研 究成果进行系统梳理,试图回答三个问题:在课堂教学中,支持个性化学习的关键技术是什么?开展个性化学习 的主要路径是什么?个性化学习的效果怎么评?研究的基本结论为:支持个性化学习的AI技术以智能化分析与个 性化推荐技术为核心;个性化学习实施的基本路径为“识别特征—定制任务—检验效果”三阶段;个性化学习效 果评价侧重于从过程性视角出发,关注个体层面的自身发展与交互层面的人机关系。

How Can AI Empower Personalized Learning in Large-scale Classrooms: Based on International AI Classroom Teaching Application Results in the Past Decade

Abstract: How to meet learners’ personalized needs in large-scale classroom teaching scenarios and achieve “individualized teaching” has been an important goal, which classroom teaching innovation empowered by artificial intelligence aims to achieve. This article adopts a systematic literature review method to review high-level research results of personalized learning in large-scale classrooms empowered by international artificial intelligence technology in the past decade (2012-2022), attempting to answer the following three questions: What are the key technologies supporting personalized learning in classroom teaching? What is the main path for conducting personalized learning? How to evaluate the effectiveness of personalized learning? Results show that AI technology that support personalized learning most are intelligent analysis and personalized recommendation technology; Basic path for implementing personalized learning forms three stages of “identifying features, customizing tasks, and verifying effectiveness”; Personalized learning effectiveness might be evaluated from a procedural perspective, focusing on individual level self-development and interactive human-machine relationships.
