Journal of Open Learning (China), which has been known, as the Journal of Beijing Radio and TV over the last 20 years. The journal is a bimonthly publication operated by Beijing Open University, dedicated to disseminate the innovations and research in the areas of distance education and lifelong learning. The journal, with our consistent endeavors over the years, has now been recognized in China as one of resource centers for up-to-date global perspectives and current local innovations in international development and China's practices in the broad areas of open learning.

Currently we have a wide readership covering researchers, practitioners and policy makers in the areas of adult education, lifelong learning and open learning.
