面向中小学生的美国图书馆创客教育实践研究

【摘 要】作为创客运动的发起者,美国创客教育不仅在学校的正式环境中进行了深刻的实践,更在图书馆等非正式环境中得以广泛开展,创客教育实践经验十分丰富。本文对面向中小学学生的美国图书馆创客教育实践工作进行了回顾,以Autumn Falls中学图书馆的纸质电路创客项目(Paper Circuits)为例,从项目概况、活动的设计与实施以及师资建设等方面展开分析,进而归纳出面向中小学生的美国图书馆创客教育实践的四大特点:多方合作,协力推进;学科渗透,深度融合;形式多样,注重体验;重视培训,提升师资。在此基础上,进一步提炼实践经验,着眼政策支持、项目的设计与实践等角度,为我国面向中小学生的图书馆创客教育工作提供有益的启示。

Research on the Maker Education Practice of American Library for Primary and Secondary School Students

Abstract: As the initiator of the Maker Movement, the experience of American maker education is abundant. The development of its educational activities is not only conducted in the formal environment like schools, but also can be practiced widely in the informal environment such as libraries. This paper reviews the practice of American Library Maker education for primary and secondary school students, and takes the Paper Circuits Maker project of Autumn Falls Middle School Library as an example to analyze its outline, design and implementation and teacher construction. It further summarizes four characteristics of American Library Maker Education for primary and secondary school students: fi rstly, multi-party cooperation, and joint efforts; secondly, the infi ltration of disciplines, and the depth of integration; thirdly, diverse forms and focusing on experience; fourth, training to improve teachers’ abilities. Based on this, this paper refi nes practical experience from the perspective of policy support, project design and practice, aiming to provide useful enlightenment for the library creator education work for primary and secondary schools in China.
