【摘 要】时下学习型社会已成为全球共同的价值追求,然而揆诸现实发现:因着不同的国别、历史阶段、文化背景、社会阶层,对学习型社会的理解和表述也不尽相同。本着对分歧乃至矛盾的和解,重温概念肇始的经典文本。本文采用原理解读与历史回溯相结合的方法,对学习型社会概念提出的历史背景、所蕴含的伟大而超乎现实的社会学、教育学理念进行详尽的梳理,并对近半个世纪的概念影响力进行评述。最后以辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义为圭臬,论述概念哲学基础的局限性,并提出中国特色的学习型社会理念和实践是对经典概念的持守和超越。

The Fulfi llment Society and the Best Education: An Review of the Thought of Hutchins Learning Society

Abstract: Nowadays, learning society has become a common value pursuit in the world. However, in spite of the reality, we fi nd that different countries, historical stages, cultural backgrounds and social strata have different understanding and expressions of learning society. In line with the reconciliation of differences and even contradictions, we should revisit the classical text from which the concept originated. This paper combines principle interpretation with historical retrospect to make a detailed analysis of the historical background of the concept of learning society, the great and metaphysics sociological and pedagogical concepts contained in it, and to comment on the conceptual infl uence of the past half century. Finally, based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this paper discusses the limitations of the philosophical basis of the concept, and points out that the concept and practice of learning society with Chinese characteristics are the adherence to and transcendence of classical concepts.
