【摘 要】多模态教育数据是当前开展教育实证研究的关键支撑,对多模态教育数据的理解需要完成从“认识着什么”到“实现着什么”的转变。为明确多模态教育数据应用的实际进展,文章以在计算机科学领域具有清晰定义的“多模态学习”为切入点,采用系统性文献综述法,总结了教育实证研究中多模态教育数据的应用方法及其关联的研究主题。研究结果显示:教育实证研究中多模态教育数据的应用方法以指向具体教育变量的融合预测为主,关联的实证研究主题主要涉及学习过程测量、学业结果评价、课堂教学分析、知识工程、试题研究、教学管理六个方面。研究建议,应在多模态教育数据的表示、对齐、转译等层面加强通用性的基础研究。

The Application of Multimodal Educational Data in Empirical Research:A Systematic Review based on International Empirical Research

Abstract: Multimodal educational data is a key support to current empirical educational research, and there is a transfer from“what is known”to“what is realized” in its understanding. To clarify actual progress of multimodal educational data application, this article chooses “multimodal learning”, which is clearly defined in the field of computer science, as the entry point. Using a systematic review approach, it summarizes methods empowered by multimodal educational data and topics related to it in empirical educational research. Results show that multimodal educational data application methods mainly point to the integration of specific educational variables for prediction. There are six aspects in related empirical research topics: the measurement of learning process, academic evaluation, classroom teaching analysis, knowledge engineering, examination research, teaching and learning management. It is suggested that generalized basic research be strengthened in representation, alignment, and translation of multimodal educational data.
