行为投入与学业成就关系的元分析研究

【摘 要】行为投入作为衡量学生学习的指标,在提升学生学业成就方面发挥了重要作用。不少研究表明,行为投入与学业成就之间存在一定的联系。本研究对2005年至2020年52项行为投入与学业成就关系的量化研究进行元分析,探索两者关系的影响程度,并分析样本来源、学段、性别以及行为投入报告方式、成就类型等调节因素对两者关系的影响差异。研究结果表明:行为投入与学业成就关系的整体效应值为0.255,具有中到高等程度正相关;两者关系受学段、行为投入报告方式、成就类型和性别的影响,并具有调节效应;样本来源对两者关系的影响差异不显著,还有待于进一步研究。最后,对研究结果进行讨论并提出相应的建议,旨在更好地揭示行为投入与学业成就之间的关系。

Meta-analysis of the Relationship Between Behavioral Engagement and Academic Achievement

Abstract:As an indicator to measure students’learning,behavioural engagement plays an important role in improving students’academic achievement. Many studies have shown that there is a certain relationship between behavioral engagement and academic achievement. This study conducts a meta-analysis of 52 quantitative studies on the aforesaid relationship from year 2005 to 2020, so as to explore the degree of influence of the relationship between them. It also analyzes five moderating factors’different effects, namely sample source, school period, gender, behavioral engagement reported methods and achievement types,on the relationship between them. The research results show that the overall effect value of the relationship between behavioral engagement and academic achievement is 0.255, which is positively correlated with a medium to high degree; the relationship between them is affected by school period, behavioral engagement reported methods, achievement type and gender which are having moderating effects; the impact of sample source on the relationship between them is not significant, and further research is needed. Finally, study results are discussed and corresponding suggestions are put forward in order to better understand the relationship between behavioral engagement and academic achievement.
